Road safety is paramount for ensuring the well-being of all individuals travelling on roads. Every year, countless lives are affected by accidents, underscoring the critical need for proactive measures to mitigate risks and enhance safety standards. As a responsible corporate entity, JK Tyre recognizes its duty to contribute to the advancement of road safety initiatives. JK Tyre has embarked on generating awareness among road users- drivers, pedestrians, etc to enhance safety measures along the roads. In partnership with Traffic Police, the installation of crash barriers, ingeniously crafted from scrap tires, has been initiated at various accident-prone locations in Delhi NCR. These crash barriers serve as a tangible manifestation of our commitment to fostering safer roads for the community.
Tyre is the only physical contact that a vehicle has with the road surface, and therefore while driving, tyres should be in their most optimum condition. Poorly inflated tyres wear quickly and affect the overall performance of the vehicle, including braking distance, handling, fuel consumption and safety. The overloading also increases tyre wear and fuel consumption and adversely affects vehicle handling and stability. JK Tyre regularly conducts awareness campaigns and trainings programs on Tyre care and maintenance to reduce accidents caused by faulty tyres and road safety. Our ‘Back to School’ campaign categorically targets School Bus drivers wherein bus drivers are trained in proper tyre care and responsible driving ensuring safety for students, road users, etc, greater tyre life and better mileage.
Infrastructure development is the key to rural development. We have supported school buildings, community halls, orphanage buildings, etc. A state of the art JK Stadium has been developed at Kankroli, Rajasthan where local youths are availing best in class class sports facilities for state/ national level competitions.
